ROBOTICS SAXONY – Cross-sector use of robotics and AI for sustainable economic growth
Funding providers: SMWA / Funding coordinator: SAB Duration of project: 01/2025 - 12/2028
We pool expertise in the field of robotics in Saxony and create a strong network across industry boundaries. Our goal is to effectively connect solution providers, scientific institutions, users – especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) – and political stakeholders.
Through targeted measures, we ensure the national and international visibility of Saxon expertise in robotics and artificial intelligence (AI). We actively promote the transfer of automation and AI solutions to companies.
As the industry's voice, we represent the interests of users, system integrators, and manufacturers to politics and business – for an innovative, digital, and competitive future.
Human-centered automation for a resilient economy
The focus is on the development of new methods and technologies for human-centered automation. The cluster aims to ensure the competitiveness and resilience of the Saxon economy – while also specifically expanding regional value creation.
Demand-Oriented Solutions and Modern Working Models
A key element is the intersectoral needs assessment for future-proof robotics solutions – closely linked to the development of new, flexible working models.
Technology Development for Maximum Flexibility
To make future robotics solutions adaptable, flexible, and applicable across sectors, the cluster promotes cutting-edge enabling technologies. These include human-robot collaboration, intuitive communication and programming solutions, and real-time networking with global knowledge platforms.
